Hi, I am hoping someone can help me with a perplexing problem I am experiencing. Sometimes when I'm talking with a particular person on Pidgin via the Yahoo Messenger protocol, I am not receiving some of their messages. The problem is further exacerbated by this only happening at random. This does not happen with others on Yahoo - only this person.
We've tried using Yahoo Messenger itself, disabling the firewall, connecting directly to the Internet (that is, bypassing our routers), attempted a different Yahoo chat server, doing a complete malware & virus scan (using up to date databases), but none of these have worked.
Has anyone else experienced this problem, & if so what else can I do to resolve this issue? Thank you for your assistance.
