I found it through geddeth.dk/downloads/gaim/, it's pretty interesting to see what they're working on without having to actually use the SVN builds. This shows people who don't believe that Gaim is being developed that they are wrong, and is also very nice for seeing how development is going. Interestingly, one of the commits for today say that we will now be able to use GTK 2.8 because they have moved the part of GTK 2.6 that they needed into their main source tree. Great news for those that have been resorting to hacks to get Gaim working alongside GIMP 2.3.x. (Is this a Windows-only problem, or does it affect *nix too?)

That page is functionally similar to the gaim-commits mailing list which I point everyone who asks about gaim development at, but yes, we should probably list that page a bit more publicly.

I don't know how to reply to a specific comment in a thread, but want to second Etan's suggestion that the link above be put in someplace more public. I just spent an hour ( :( ) trying to find that same link, as I remembered Etan sharing it a few months ago.
I'd like to, at least occasionally, help answer some of the "newbie" questions on this forum if I can. But I have to say I find it difficult to make my way around this site sometimes. Perhaps someone could put this up on the main gaim webpage, perhaps in the FAQ?
I was also surprised there wasn't a link in the sidebar for "developers" or "help with development" or something like that. Perhaps even just an entry in the FAQ saying "go learn how to use sourceforge here, then get on the mailing lists and irc" or somethhing like that. Just a suggestion.

BTW is http://geddeth.dk/downloads/gaim/ maintained by a developer?? Because the Windows installer look and behave like tke official ones :P And are this SVN stable (and considerably more advanced than beta 6 that is already a few months old)?? I have used those build in the past between Betas that had problems and to see the development! But beta 6 seems pretty good right now! I wonder if there's any new feature and protocol improvement on SVN?
And BTW keep the good work!!

No, it is not maintained by any of the gaim developers it is entirely third-party, entirely unsupported, and not particularly recommended. When svn is deemed ready for a release we make one, until then things might change or be broken at any time.

That issue does not affect unix (including linux) users.
I did not realize CIA had a web version.
