I just found out about gaim-text and it's seems good apart from one thing - in some terminals buddy icons and sometimes window borders are made from wrong characters. Also I notice that the windows aren't redrawn properly.
So far the only terminal where all parts are printed correctly is urxvt.
Is there any way of forcing it to use simple control characters for window borders that don't require a unicode term?
Also is it possible to switch off drawing of the buddy icons?
