With all the features that can be configured with Pidgin, I have set up an office internal messaging system with Pidgin and Google Hangouts plug in because just using Hangouts via web browser doesn't often give us the needed alerts for some respective users.
One user reports that when sending messages, and tapping on Enter, nothing sends. The freshly typed text just hangs in the text box. This is a brand new issue (as of today), and I cannot find anything regarding the problem on a Google search or in any forums. Is anyone familiar with this? Or do I need to just re configure the plug in and user log in?
We are all using Windows 10.

If you can't press enter to send, then that normally means the account isn't connected. Check at the bottom of the buddy list to see if there aren't any connection errors, and/or look in the Accoutns List to make sure that the Hangouts account is enabled (has a tick at the start of the line)
