I want to get rid of those buddy icons / buddy pictures in the list. I have unchecked "show buddy icons", but they still show up. I try to adjust the window size to get rid of them but it just shortens the buddy names.
I like a clean, non-cluttered, small list. A lot of those names and all those little pictures take up a lot of room.

btw, i am using Gaim 2.0.0beta4 on windows
On the buddy list, uncheck Buddies->SHow Buddy Details
