Hi. I have been looking at the preferences in the Pidgin menu and a few of them confuse me under the Network section. Basically what I want to do is force Pidgin to always use a proxy, so for example if the proxy is down, then pidgin should not connect to anything.
Under the Network section I see there is a tickbox called "use automatically detected IP address". I am guessing I should disable this and enter the poxy IP under the "public IP" box?
The otehr settings regarding Ports, Stun Server, Turn server, I am not sure on these.
Under the "Proxy" meny, there is also an option here to set some proxy settings. Would these need to be done too?
