That is the 'Resource' of your XMPP account and thus not something we can change automatically, but is something you can change whenever you feel like it.
We haven't used the application name as the default XMPP resource in quite some time so this is an account you created a rather long time ago as well.

ahh yes. thanks changed it to Pidgin in the account settings.
