It may be an issue with the permissions on the key files. Ensure that they are only readable/writable by the user. You may get some more useful information by looking at the Pidgin Debug log on startup when the keys get generated: look for messages from the plugin indicating that it found the key files unacceptable and that it decided to regenerate them. Given the lack of development resources on the project, I'd generally suggest that questions like this go to the "users" list rather than the developer list. Thanks, -Bill |
