Hi, When talking to someone using gchat they see the <gaim-encryption> tag.. Is there a way to disable broadcasting to a certain chat protocal (gchat) or person?

Nothing in the preferences that is per-person or per-chat, just the "Broadcast Encryption Capability" checkbox.
Most of the protocols that have clients that don't support HTML don't do any broadcasting, just AIM and Jabber/XMPP. Sounds like the gchat client doesn't support HTML, though... I'll look into disabling it for all gchat users, if it's possible to do it without affecting other XMPP users.
