I'll see if I can reproduce this on the SourceForge compile farm, but I doubt it will be happy about running a graphical/network program on those machines. Unfortunately I don't have a Mac here to try it on myself.

well, i went around the problem. i don't think its gaim-encryption at all now actually.
when i link against the NSS and NSPR libraries in Firefox (precompiled for OS X), it works fine. and when i build firefox from source myself and try to use NSS there it fails in the same way.
i'll post on the mozilla site about this.

Hi all,
I've tried compiling gaim-encryption against several versions of the NSS library, up to and including latest from CVS.
Whenever I enable the plugin gaim crashes with
Assertion failure: 0 == lock->notified.length, at ../../../../pr/src/pthreads/ptsynch.c:192
This is on OS X 10.3.6/Darwin 7.6.0. Any ideas?
