keys bigger than 1024 are not working

I have gaim 0.62 and keys > 1024 are not working.
I receive the keys(they are in known_keys file) but "message garbled" appears instead of the message.

  Hmm. A 2048 bit key is working fine for me with AIM, so I'm not sure what is causing a problem for you. What messaging protocol are you using?

    I've gotten another bug report about long keys with Yahoo messenger as well. I'll go ahead and sign myself up with Yahoo and see if I can diagnose what's going on. I think it's probably a maximum message length restriction by Yahoo, which might really complicate things for the plugin.
