#14 compileall.py fails.

The script compileall.py from the python distribution fails on piddle.

The reason is that some of the piddle .py files contain \r characters.
i.e. they are in DOS format. The problem could be fixed using the following script

for i in *.py; do
tr -d '\r' < $i > qqqq
mv qqqq $i
done

I guess this is not actually a bug in piddle, but a shortcoming of compileall.py

    I'm not sure what to do about this. I could translate all the files, but some of the developers work on win32 based systems. Perhaps I should submit a bug report to the compileall.py maintainer. -clee

    I've removed the characters because they will automatically
    be added back if you check out the files in CVS (as expected if you are a developer) from a windows machine.

    compileall now works
