Merged on Github at https://github.com/danbodoh/picsnvideos-jpilot (for future visitors here) Commits look like they got a bit messy with merging different repositories, but all this great work will be useful to those few out there still using Pilots. Thanks! Dan On Fri, Aug 19, 2022 at 12:06 PM CoSoCo cosoco@users.sourceforge.net wrote: Hi Dan, much thanks for your outlined description. This helps me a lot. Hi Dan, much thanks for your outlined description. This helps me a lot. The key information is, that I need to create a fork to my own account to do a pull request, This is what I didn't know before.
Ulf, First - make sure you copied the latest. In your local repo, type 'git log'. Do you see 12 original commits from me, with the latest on May 17 2008? If so, then you got my latest code. The original code there had only 1 commit that was out of date. If you did commit to the original and not the latest version, I think there are ways to take the work you've done and move it over. You will need an account on github. Once you do, go to https://github.com/danbodoh/picsnvideos-jpilot and click "Fork"...
Hi Dan, oh, that's great, that you have it already on GitHub. What a pity, that I did not know that before. I had set up a local git repo from scratch with your last code from SourceForge. Now I have cloned your repo from GitHub. It was a lot work, to merge my work from one to the other local repo, because they had not the same ancestor. But now I'm ready with it. I see your edit just now. So please don't set up again fresh, so I don't have to do the complicated merge again. So now I think I need...

Source code is now on GitHub

Ulf, I had forgotten that I put this on GitHub a while back. Would you like to submit a pull request to https://github.com/danbodoh/picsnvideos-jpilot ? Edit: I thin that the github is not the most up-to-date. Let me get the latest code there first, might have to delete the repo and start over. Dan

Hi Dan, thanks for your reply. I still use my Palm Treo, as it is the only smart phone I know, which is not observed from Big Data. Would you mind, if I would upload my changes to another open source repo like GitHub? -Ulf Am 15.08.22 um 04:22 schrieb Dan Bodoh: Thanks for this work, CoSoCo! I've long since abandoned palm pilots

Hi, I've fixed the bug, that prevents the plugin to proper compile and run in 64 bit environment. I've removed superfluous auto files and updated config files. See attachment ... It also fixes a missing cast for 32 bit. If you don't find the package libpisock-dev for your distribution, download libpisock-dev_0.12.5-dfsg-2build2_ARCH.deb from https://packages.ubuntu.com/bionic/libpisock-dev and manually extract the contents. Then do sudo tar -xkf data.tar.xz -C /
