Hello all!
If this is wrong forum please let me know where I can
go for assitance.

trying to configure PicMonger v0.9.6
Get:

Checking for GTK-- - version >= 1.1.8... no
*** Could not run GTK-- test program, checking why...
*** The test program compiled but did not run. This
usually means
*** that the run-time linker is not finding GTK-- or
finding the wrong
*** version of GTK--. If it is not finding GTK--,
you'll need to set your
*** LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable, or edit
/etc/ld/so/conf to point
*** to the installed location Also, Make sure you have
run ldconfig if that
*** is required on your system

I am running: RH 7.2
libsigc++ 1.0.4
IMLIB 1.8.2
GTK v1.2.10
GTK-- v1.2.8

My config.log is attached.

Here is the output of gtkmm-config --libs:

-rdynamic -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib
-lgtkmm -lgdkmm -lgtk -lgdk -lgmodule -lglib -ldl -lXi
-lXext -lX11 -lm -lsigc -lpthread

Here is my ld.so.conf:
/usr/local/lib
/usr/kerberos/lib
/usr/X11R6/lib
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib
/usr/lib

And of course I ran a ldconfig after installing the
required libraries before trying to configure PicMonger.

Any ideas out there?
