#9 Does not compile on Mandrake 8.0

I have made myself very sure that gtkmm and gnomemm as
also the corresponding devel packages are installed.
But despite of that I get everytime the error GTK did
not run checking why....

The have set the path to gtkmm and gnomemm in
/etc/ld.so.conf and have also run ldconfig. I even
removed all gtkmm and gnomemm packages and compiled
them again from source, but the problem remains the same.

gnomemm which also remains on gtkmm finds it and
compiles with no errors, why not PicMonger?

Using Mandrake 8.0 together with Gnome.
