All the information that is required to generate rules for endpoint monitoring exists today for XML messages. Please generate rules in XQuery for monitoring of XML messages.

There is no temporal or modal logic needed, because the rules refer to details in the messages only.

Please see attached the example of rules for the SWIFT FpML messages.
