As reported by Hamid Ebadi the CGI example program Base64.exe may crash, when overlength username/password parameters are given. This has no effect on the running server process.

Although it is strongly recommended to delete all example programs that are installed with Pi3Web and to use a hardened configuration (based on template internet.pi3), when the server is operated in a remotely accessible environment, I issued a patch PL4 for Pi3Web 2.0.3. The patch mainly supresses blocking Win32 error dialogs for CGI child processes (similar PL3 does for ISAPI) and additionally a new Base64.exe is delivered.

The Base64.exe contained in the patch PL4 can also used to replace this file in older installations, if you do not want to delete it.
