When I want for example to simulate a building collapsing and I want the top floors to collapse first and then the whole building follows.

For this I have to separate the parts of the top and the parts off the bottom, baking the first part of the simulation and then make a copy of the top floor parts and restart a simulation with those new top floor part already falling, but those new parts don't have initial velocity.

So here is what would be needed to do that: a script would take all the rigid bodies of the first simulation, calculate their velocities in x y z at the end frame of the first simulation and then apply those velocities as initial velocities of the corresponding fragments of the second simulation.
