The short answer is that you'll have to deal with it yourself. =20 For the long answer, search in the code for these symbols to see a full = description of the problems: - parsInCData - xml_set_default_handler - xml_set_character_data_handler - _translateAmpersand CData caused parsing problems, and as such it's structure is not stored, = rather it is treated as part of the containing textnode. You might be = able to "formally" remove the <!CDATA[ ]]> parts passing the string you = get back from wholeText() through the xml parser, but you'd have to wrap = it in <> stuff in order to make your string a valid xml document.
