replaceChild() on its way

I have a few more things to touch up and this will be done, much like 
appendChild() but there were a few other things I had forgetten 
about...anyway, as soon as I get my bearing together with the CVS (I have 
been following the list for at least a month and half now very closely, I 
will put this in there...carefully of course
