I would like to see a point system for users. One that awards points set by the admin (so many points for posting comments, voting in the polls, etc.) I would also like to see a journal That would show up on the user's personal account page. myphpnuke just had a journal and a points system created for them and am wondering if they could be modified for phpWebsite 8.x?

Does that mean you aren't going to be working on anymore 8.x mods? I really prefer not to upgrade to the new phpws website. It seems like one version gets fixed and the mods and themes get made for it and your members are enjoying it and bang! We start over with a new version and the mods and themes arent' there....etc. Oh dear! Well, that's the way it goes. Think I'll just stay with this one for a long while though and hope someone else will work on the 8.x mods and continue making them. You know when you have a community website, you lose members every time you change to the next one. Is not fun.

It possibly could be done with .8x, especially if it's ported from the nuke code.
I remember a looooong time ago, my BBS operated that way. People gained points by actively using the BBS and were promoted based on points.
I've seen the journal mods before and they aren't too difficult to manage either.
However, as .90 draws nearer to completion, I'm focusing on learning it inside and out to start making even more sophisticated sites and modules.
