I have not ported it to .8x at all. I was thinking about it, but was actually waiting for .9x series to come out as the developers say that the module API will finally be hammered down.
When .9x comes out, expect to see a bunch of modules come out from me (including some that were old plugins and such).

Oh, too bad ... :-( I would have loved to use it without having to change everything to another (and another, and another) version of phpws.

Well, I/we use phpws on production servers, and just do not have the time to constantly change the installed versions of phpws (yes, I know, it's a 0.x version, but nonetheless).
Is is quite a hassle to keep upgrading because for some versions of phpws PHP needs to be upgraded, for other versions the plugins or themes either don't work or don't exist, and all versions are somehow buggy.
This is a lot of hasse if one wants to use phpws. Too bad I cannot program in php, and do just want to use phpws and help spread the use of it.
But this seems to be one of the weaknesses of using OSS - in other projects it's the same.

Still thank you very much for your reply and for your good work.

Did anyone ever port the old mwhois-plugin (0.7.x) to 0.8.2 or so?

Thanks, but I was looking for the mod which does a whois query to a whois-Server.
I do already use your phpwhosonline and like it ;-) but it is not what I am after. Thanks anyway.
oops, sorry...
How's this...

Has this one been ported for 8.2 and above yet?
Thanks,
Marie Alline
Hm, I was looking for the mod version (for 0.8.x), not for the old plugin version (0.7.x). Or did you get the plugin working with 0.8.x?
Any news on this?
