I finally got headlines to wokr on my server by putting it to left side (didn't work on right or center) and making the cache directory writable and whatever else I did to make it work. Then I installed "downloads 2.0" and the only thing that would appear is the left table. When I removed either software, certain parts would work except now, headlines doesn't work at all anymore. Has any one has this problem? Headlines had never worked on this install.
PHP4.1.0, Apache 1.3.20, Mac OS X, PHPWebSite 7.10. This didn't work before installed php4.1. After modifying the core of phpwebsite I can use php4.1.0.
I have just started to install headlines and it will not create the mySQL data base.
I would appreciate any suggestions or the database parameters.
I am not yet codeworthy enough to extract from the headlines code. I do have another access to mySQL to create tables tho.
I have created cache and 777nd it.
Thanks,
Randy
