Have installed forum 0.5, which went without a hitch. Set up a number of forums using mod.php?mod=forum:administrate.
In admin:edit main menu, added menu item Forum, 'mod.php?mod=forum'. It does not appear in the menu, and in the list of menu items is preceded by '>>'.
What does this mean? How can I add the forum to the menu?

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
The '>>' means the menu item has been added below another menu item (e.g. News, >>World News, >>Local News). It will not appear in the main menu until the top menu item is clicked on, or if the menu is extended by default (set in the "look and feel" options of the admin menu.)
To add a new menu item to the top level of the main menu click on the "[ Add Top Level Menu Item ]" Doh! The reason you might screw up is the wording at the top of the box. If the ptb want to minimize newbies making this error, they might want to change the button text to "Add Menu Item to Top Level", so users will find it easier.
