is there a way to be notified when a new module or an updated module is released? I like the thought of using downloads but downloads doesn't notify you when a link is outdated or updated nor do I believe does it notify if a links added.
I could use my browser to update me on notifications but I'm lazy and it doesn't have all the features I want.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Click on the 'Summary' link and you should see, about 1/2 way down the page, a section titled 'Latest File Releases'.
This lists 3 packages; plugins - for phpws 0.7.10 and below; modules for 0.8.0 and above; addons for any release.
By clicking on the icon that looks like an envelope for any of these packages, you will get an email telling you when any package has been added or updated.
Hope that helps.

Yes, there is a way :-)

Also, developers usually send out an announcement to the site that gets posted when they've release or updated their module.
