In working on my first theme, I noticed that the stylesheet (although quite thorough) specified all font sizes in points. This isn't really a good idea and could relate to why people on diferrent set-ups see different sizes of text. Basically, points are for print and pixels are for screen. There's a lot of detailed discussion on what makes good units for screen media stylesheets at alistapart.com. It's worth a read for anyone getting into css in a serious way.

I've spent a lot of time trying to improve my understanding of CSS in the last while (including a few pure CSS layouts). I have some ideas on simplifying the sheet included in the default theme and will share my finished sheet here (when done) if anyone is interested.

I try to specify px in my stylesheets (I'm not always successful :) ).
My problem is I'm so used to using points for other things, it's hard sometimes to correlate points to pixels.
Anyways, I FINALLY finished updating my personal site (www.theobvious.org) to .82 and updating the theme as well (kind of BixIce ish). I tore apart the vanilla theme and put it back together again :)
If anyone wants it, it'll be in my downloads section on The Obvious as soon as I can package it up :)
