I am new to php coding and have used a combination of phpws, hand code and barrowed scripts to put a website together for a small group of my friends. I found PHP Dev work to be fun and would like to help dev plugins. As I am still learning and figuring out how this works would it be better for me to wait and start coding for PHPWS v 0.8 or just go ahead with 0.7.10?
I know that 0.8 will not work the same way as the current versions so I am not sure what I should do. Basically what I would like to do is take an existing message board system as a template/knowledge base and make a message board plugin/mod for phpws. What do you all think?
Matt

Definitely code plugins for 0.8.0+ as this will be more valuable to you in the future, and will open your work up to other phpWS users as timme goes on and people upgrade :-)
