I'm installing last version of gallery and I get the
following error:

phpWebSite Gallery Plug-in Install
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You need to correct all the errors below. Once you feel
you have corrected the errors, click here to try installing
again. If for some reason you keep receiving errors, but
you know everything is okay, click here.

Incorrect $gal_url value in gallery_config.php. Try

According to my FTP the script is istalled at:

/public_html/php_scripts/site/mod/gallery

What can I do??

Thanks

It looks like this is because of a bug in
gallery_install.php. Line 72 of that file reads:

    $correct\_url = dirname\($SCRIPT\_URL\);

    It should be:

    $correct\_url = dirname\($SCRIPT\_NAME\);

As an aside, I note that line 71 references the
$SCRIPT_FILENAME variable, which is only available in
PHP installations using the Apache web server. So this
module will not work unmodified on other web servers.

mjgardner found a problem I overlooked. So I've gone
ahead and removed two diagnostic checks from the setup
script until I can find a better way of doing them. Feel free
to download the updated gallery_install.php below or re-
    download the updated phpwsgallery1.3.zip.

With the updated gallery_install.php, I'm getting kicked
back to the site home page and the module isn't getting
    installed.

The old one exhibited the same behavior, even after I
applied the fix I listed in an earlier post.

this may work for yourself, but not for me,

    errorWarning:

Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output
    started
    at /drive2/vhosts/mysite/httpdocs/mod/gallery/gallery_install.php:24)
    in /drive2/vhosts/show-it.com/httpdocs/htmlheader.php on line 28

I tried not using this, and changing the NAME as you suggested, if I do
that and put in an actual http:// URL instead of /mod/gallery it offers me
the correct information, but then as normal just takes me back to the
home page..not ready for human consumtion this yet...but I am sure we
    will get their.

I'm pretty sure this new install script will work as expected.
Sorry about all the problems! Again, you can find the install
script below or within the phpwsgallery1.3.zip.

    Hi

I am getting bounced to the homepage, too.

I even used the gallery_install.php file below, and it still
    bounces.

    Any suggestions??

    Thanks very much.

I'm assuming you're using phpWebSite 0.8.2, so that
shouldn't be the problem. Make sure you go to modules
setup and click the install link for gallery from the admin.
    panel.
