Using phpWS 0.8.2 and the latest release of phpwsgallery.

I created a gallery.  I then created an album.

When I go to browse, I can see the gallery listed.  However when I click on the "more..." link I get a page that just says "Error! No album found".  I have 2 albums created and I can go back and edit them so I'm pretty sure they are in the database.

Also, when I try to add a picture, I click "auto-generate" thumbnail but it errors out saying that I need to specify the thumbnail image.  What is that about?

Make sure that on the edit album screen the albums enabled select box is set to "Yes".

The ablum is and was enabled.  It is so by default.

So I can't look at albums, although there is nothing to look at since I can't upload pictures do to the auto-thumbnailing thing.  :p

OK I failed to realize that I needed gdlib compiled into php.  I did so.  Now I can bulk-add media and then view the album.  w00t.  Compiled with png and jpg support.

However I am still unable to add an individual picture due to the thumbnail image error I was getting earlier.

      Any thoughts?

I don't know why everyone is having problems using the Add Media feature when the Auto-thumbnail box is checked. It works when I use it. Anyway, this issue is currently being looked into by Michael. Stay tuned.

Is it possible for somebody to layout what you are doing, what kind of web server setup you have going, when the gallery upload fails. Lastly, the system has worked for me so far, so I'll need somebody to let me have access to a system that doesn't work.

I should have time to work on this during the weekend.

I've had uploading, thumbnailing, errors with ver 13 and turned to 131 with no hitches at all..did not upgrade from 13 but upload it as new and followed all the documentation to install. I m no programmer but it worked seemlessly...no errors at all.

              It's at http://www.hasnol.com/mod.php?mod=gallery

Anywayz, If I uninstall ver 131 and reload version 13, and then overwrite it not replacing it, with ver 131, is this possible..? Will I have the same admin stuffs for gallery 131 as it has with ver 13?

Can't really give you accesss to the box though since it's on an intranet.

      Hint:
*for thumbnails select the same image as the main image
      *for no gallery
check the Expiration date or set in to never.
