Can we expect an updated phpwebsite gallery module soon for the phpWS .8.2 Stable version? I had it working on one of the RCs but so far no luck on the stable version.
Thanks.

Wasn't very hard, I just had to change the sql table values in the gallery plug in files to those that 8.2 set up in my database.
The find & replace feature in wordpad worked great for that. If you used the default install directory extension of phpws_ in your sql database, I can send you my files and they should work fine.

Hi Dan I would be interested in seeing what you altered in these files to make it work.
I noticed it was that prefix naming that threw the wrench into an install for this table. I am new to sql, so I had no idea what to do next?
create a table copy just for this, or alter the set up and config files(which seemed smarter?)
thanks.

If you'd like a copy of the files that will work with 8.2 and you've used the default table prefix of 'phpws_' then drop me an e-mail to dan@weasel.cx and I'll send out a set of files for you.
Just letting you know however that this set of files has only been tested to work on my particular install of phpWS and come as is, without warranty. I am by no means a programmer or a php junkie, I just figured out how to get this to work with a particular table prefix.

Considering I use your Gallery module quite a bit for my friends and family to keep track of my travels, I thank you for the work efforts you've been putting into this project.
In response to the naysayers, yes there might be a few drawbacks to the gallery module, but yours is up and running successfully on phpWebSite. Besides, the naysayers could always help code.
My fun peice of coding was adding a random photo block with block admin to gallery. Maybe it might make it into a gallery release.
Cheers,
Michael

I don't think it will be anytime soon, but I haven't forgotten about it.
I was able to port the gallery plug in to 8.2
