I am getting the following message when trying to install 0.6.2 within my 0.9.3-1 version of phpWebSite. Any ideas? I already made sure that my phpWebsite is upgraded top 0.9.3-1
ERROR MESSAGE FROM BOOST:
This module requires a phpWebSite core version of 0.9.3-1 or greater to install.
You are currently using phpWebSite core version 0.9.3.
Contacts installation NOT successful!
Are you certain you upgraded to 0.9.3-1 and NOT just 0.9.3? You need to upgrade to 0.9.3-1 from http://phpwebsite.appstate.edu, then add in the supplemental files from my site, then install phpwsContacts.
Yes, I think so.
Per the upgrade instructions, I unzipped the phpwebsite-0.9.3-1-full file to a temp directory, backed up my web's directory and database, then did a "cp -R " from the unzipped directory to my web directory.
Is there a file that I can look at to confirm that the 9.3-1 version is in place?
Did you follow all of the instructions found in the UPGRADE.txt file that came with the phpwebsite-0.9.3-1-full? Namely, after copying the files into place, you need to browse to http://yoursite.com/setup/ (assuming phpws is the doc root).
Yes, after typing in my password, I saw the following message:
My websit phpWebSite Updater
Core update not required
No mods currently require updating.
Well that certainly is a pickle. What does your phpwebsite conf/core_info.php file say for $version? If you had updated properly it should say 0.9.3-1. I'm having a hard time believing that your phpWebSite core is properly updated.
