Initial Comment:
Occasionally I need to perform maintenance on the forum - usually
whilst upgrading the forum software and putting my custom
templates in place or when you need to take the whole thing offline
because you're fed up of trolls and need a break. ;-)
Could we add a...
"Bulletin Board offline for maintenance" mode where anyone other
than deity gets a message saying it's not available but behind the
scenes the deity can mess about changing templates, deleting
posts, fixing swear words or whatever.
