The forum software you sent isn't an earlier version of phpwsBB. It's  
completely different software written by different authors. The forum  
software you sent was by Badguy for phpWebSite 0.8.x from 2002. I've  
not heard of him since about that time either.

I don't know of an easy way to convert from one to the other.

I don't know if anyone else has converted from Badguy's forum to  
phpwsBB either.
