Feature Requests item #1044661, was opened at 2004-10-11 16:01 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=562405&aid=1044661&group_id=81260 Category: Interface Improvements Group: None Status: Open Priority: 3 Submitted By: Shaun Murray (singletrack) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Posting to a locked thread Initial Comment: Often, as a moderator, you lock a thread because it's got silly, abusive or just run it's course. You could put an explanation in the thread itself but on a fast moving thread that might go in too late with people posting while you think up a tactful response so often it's better to lock and then explain. However, even moderators and admins can't post after a lock. Can we make it so that they can so that they can post an explanation for the locking after the event. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=562405&aid=1044661&group_id=81260 |
