What I had in mind was something along the lines of an Wiki XML
DTD. I know that a huge amount of work has gone into the new
MIME format, but what about storing pages as XML? They could
then be rendered by XSLT on the client side (if available) or on the
server side if not.
It would be much easier to access pages using other tools.

Also, http://openwiki.com/ seems to use XML quite effectively.
Just a thought. Any views?
