Do you mean the install process didn't work right? Or your wiki just has a
lot of pages now?
Speed has never been a high priority with PhpWiki since it's usually used
by small groups of people. I think we will look at ways of serving pages
faster in the next release later this year.
In the meantime you might start hacking PhpWiki yourself! :-)
