Hello, I'm new on this list, so I'll begin by saying some words about me : My name is S=E9bastien Delahaye, I'm a french student, I develop some php applications, and my english is really very poor=2E As some of you may have noticed (those who have not should have :), I've submitted some tiny patches for phpWiki yesterday on sourceforge=2Enet (Maybe you should redirect the patchs & bugs to the appropriate mailing-lists ?)=2E I've begun working of a french l10n of phpWiki=2E So far, I've translated 50% of the =2Epo file, and some files in pgsrc/=2E Before I continue, I wanted to know if anybody was working on a same l10n, because it would be too bad to have the work done twice :) I just looked at the archives of this list, and saw nothing related to a french l10n in december, but I prefer asking=2E Bye, --=20 S=2E=20 delahaye@frjv=2Eorg |

I think I'll finish the translation this week-end, if no new huge page is added into the CVS. > (P.S Your english is excellent!) Only because it took me a lot of time to write the mail :) Bye, -- S. del...@fr... |

S=E9bastien, I'm sorry this response is so late. I was away on holiday when your posted your message. There are (or at least were,) at least two other French translation efforts underway. I don't know much about the status of the other efforts, but I've created a wiki-page with what I know: http://phpwiki.sf.net/phpwiki/FrenchTranslations. (I've CC:ed the other French translators on this message, so you can pick their e-mail addresses out of the mail headers.) Again, sorry for the late reply. Jeff |

Hello, ( I've modified http://phpwiki.sf.net/phpwiki/FrenchTranslations to reflect the content of this mail ) My fr.po file is here: http://animatlab.lip6.fr/outils/phpwiki/ Comme vous le constaterez, il est r=E9dig=E9 avec le tutoiement, car cela colle bien avec l'esprit du wiki: simple et direct. I've not translated the pgsrc. I've partly translated, but modified for our own internal use, part of the templates. What makes things not obvious to do (and merge different po files) is the interdependencies between po files, page names, and template files. You can contact directly me about related things. I'm not in phpwiki-talk list. On Sun, 13 Jan 2002, Jeff Dairiki wrote: > On Wed, 26 Dec 2001 23:44:55 +0100 > "S.
