[Phpwiki-talk] Ampersand

Hello,
I have a question regarding international characters not in the wiki
character set. Since the ampersand gets escaped I am not able to
use character entities. What was the reason for this design, is there
a sequrity reason for it. If not I would like to implement something
that enables me to use some.
