[Phpwiki-talk] probs in install

hi ,
i have downloaded phpwiki-1.3.3 version & unzippwed in my linux 
box (rh7.2,php4.2,mysql,apache).
i have edited index.php in the directory to suit my needs.
Thenm when i go to browser & say http://localhost/phpwiki/

looks it goes to index.php & it says

Parse error: parse error, expecting `')'' in 
/var/www/html/pnRK/phpwiki/index.php on line 203

line 203 is --> mysql://root:@localhost/dbname

if i add quotes at begoining & at end it goes& proceeds & then 
goees to line num ber 219 with same error

i don't understand what to do,
by default when i unzipped the files & looked the index.php ,line 
number 203 --
mysql://root:@localhost/dbname --didn't have any quotes
plz help me
