Hello, I basically just want to get a wiki of my own up and running. I am a bit flexible on what I run. What database program should I install. Or, flatfile is fine in the short term.. but the documentation seems to hint that it is broken... is there an older version that flatfile works? Does anybody have source for a personally configured wiki that I can look at? Thanks -AP (extended info below) I have PHPwiki 1.3.3 Apache 2.0.39 PHP 4.2.1 (This combination I haven't figured out how to get work) PHP 4.3a (didn't see how to start trying) IIS5.1 PHP 4.2.1 (default install) ASP (whatever comes default) (My test PHP app works) I have just installed: MySQL 3.23.51 (default install, started playing with usernames and passwords.. but have don't see the association with the data) I have an MSDN subscription, (a gift to me) and am willing to use it in the short term... Open Source would be nicer though. because I saw that mentioned in the site. I poked arround with the index.php file, and tried to set it to run with MySQL.. and I ended up resetting it all to default. I am new to all of this. I unzipped the PHPwiki in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\phpwiki\ www.openproliferation.org/phpwiki/index.php My asp copy said it installed fine... but it doesn't work either www.openproliferation.org/openwiki/ -Aaron Peterson 509 332 7697 (preferred form of communication) ICQ 2302806 (almost always invisible) alp...@ws... |
