[Phpwiki-talk] dumb install problem

Hi,

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong here, but for the life in me, I can't
see what.

I've just installed a new wiki server and, as expected, if I go to

http://wikiserver/phpwiki/

I get a brand spanking new front page.  If I then go to:

http://wikiserver/phpwiki/?MyNewPage

I then (as expected) get told that this page doesn't exist and I should
click on the question mark. When clicked this link sends you to a URL of
the form

http://wikiserver/phpwiki/MyNewPage?action=edit

This 404's.  Can anyone suggest what glaringly obvious thing I've
missed?
