In the standard US Keymap, the pipe is on the backslash key, usually
near enter -- the key between tab and escape on most keyboards is the
tilde/grave key.  According to XFree86, the GB keymap has the pipe as
the third key symbol on the tilde key (not sure how to type that), but
also as the second (hit shift) on the backslash key.  If there is a way
under windows to hit a third-symbol, I don't know -- I use linux.
