Hi Kishore,

Welcome, it's nice to have another Mac OS X user helping out. (I actually 
didn't know that Steve also uses it!)

Primarily I'm using Project Builder (from the December devtools) and 
MacCVS Pro carbon (sourceforge.net/project/maccvspro).

There is a PB project file checked in to the CVS as a module named 
"phpwiki.pbproj" (under /cvsroot/phpwiki), and you can find some notes 
about using PB with PhpWiki in doc/INSTALL.MacOSX.

MacCVS pro is mostly working well but it's not without it's quirks. For 
one thing it doesn't create local files with the correct modification 
dates when it downloads files (doesn't cause any problems, just annoying). 
Sometimes I use the CVS command-line tools. I tried a couple other clients 
but didn't like their interfaces. Once Project Builder's built-in CVS gets 
it's bugs ironed out and it supports SSH I'll probably just use it's SCM 
facilities.

Steve mentioned Emacs to me so I've started playing with that a bit. It 
looks like an excellent program but I haven't been able to get it all 
working properly ("po mode" works but I can't get php-mode to install, and 
how to access its menu bar is still a mystery.)

For browsers I'm using OmniWeb 4.1b and occasionally Mozilla and iCab. 
Really haven't used iCab much anymore since upgrading from OS 9, OW is my 
main browser now.

For databases, I'm running mySQL and Postgresql, with CocoaSQL (excellent)
  and phpMyAdmin 2.2.1.


It's good that you brought this up, we should collect this info about the 
tools we use and add some notes to doc/README.coding.
