Just reading the archives to catch up a bit.

I noticed a discussion a few weeks back about about login libraries 
to use.

Postnuke ( http://www.postnuke.com ) has just implemented its 
own.  Its fairly comprehensive and finegrained.  It allows user and 
group permissions for different activities.
