This becomes easier if you make add support for a hierarchial
namespace (SubNodes) and then make people's pages bot a subnodes of
a common node (eg People), and then disallow other than automatic
creation of pages there.  This has the pleasant side effect of
allowing the person's own page to (depending on your clocking
choices) to be under their control, which other pages out in the
publicly controlled namespace are more laissez faire.
