I just picked up on this again... you mentioned it previously but it went under my radar: you're using the nightly build, which is alpha software! Try installing 1.2 instead, which is stable and recommended: http://download.sourceforge.net/phpwiki/phpwiki-1.2.0.tar.gz I think your formatting problems and page editing problems will go away if you use 1.2 instead.
