The part of the URL after the CGI script name ('/PhpWiki' in the above example) is available in the $PATH_INFO environment variable. Note that with some minor tricks, you can also set up the latest alpha version of PhpWiki to use URLs like: http://phpwiki.sourceforge.net/alpha/PhpWiki There's more discussion on this topic at: http://phpwiki.sourceforge.net/phpwiki/index.php?PageNamesInPathInfo The easiest way to get this feature is probably to "upgrade" to the alpha version. There's a nightly snapshot at: ftp://phpwiki.sourceforge.net/pub/phpwiki/phpwiki.nightly.tar.gz If you don't want to "upgrade", you can look at the code in the alpha version to see how it's done. (The alpha version has been pretty static for the past couple of weeks, so if you grab a snapshot right now, it should be sort of "stable".) Steve: Maybe there should be a alpha release? (Also a 1.2.1 release? --- but I guess maybe we should fix the case sensitivity in page-name bugs first.) |
