Can the problem not be solved by introducing two browsing templates; one for normal users and one for administrators? Moreover, you could simply offer something like ###EDITLINK### that shows up as either the link to the edit page or as a message "page locked" and ###COPYLINK### that shows up as either a link to the the copy or a message "no copy available". I think that would cover al the IFs that are used now in the templates. But something tells me that Arno has probably already thought about this. :-) -- Jan Hidders |
