Here is a user-contributed patch for tables... and a MySQL bug. What do
you guys think of adding tables?

Okay, this patch includes a fix for MySQL.  it calles
set_magic_quotes_runtime(0), which was on by default in my php install,
and it broke everything.

The other few things are just feature enhancements added by me.  I added a
history to the top (check http://crunchydog.adhesive.com/wiki), and I
also added a way to make tables too, this may be a little too complicated
for the tidy stripped-down mark-up language you've created, but here's an
example:

Anyway, you're free to use any or all of this stuff if you'd like.
