It's tempting indeed. Also for aesthetic reasons to get rid of some
branching mistakes I did before.

BTW: For technical reasons I'd prefer arch or monotone.
In my company we use ClearQuest (which nobody likes).

But this is a major change for me and others which will need more considera=
tion.
